Atomic Culture is an analysis on how cultural meanings and movements are socially produced through art and social interactions. By organizing and producing events that highlight both established and emerging contemporary Chicano/Latino/Indigenous/Southwestern artists whose work focuses on geopolitical issues and reclaiming of identity, history and/or space - we question, how does our programming relate with the local communities?

Atomic Culture is a curatorial platform that encourages dialogue around concepts of art and experimentation through open workshops, performance, publications, exhibitions, film and music series. By using accessible platforms (social media, community centers, museums, and public space) we aim to break down pre determined social and political ideals allowing all participants both physical and virtual to have a broader knowledge of or place to speak on cultural politics through art.
